Brian Schneider will address industry professionals and enthusiasts during his presentation titled “Modern Technology Meets Legacy: Harley-Davidson's Wire Harness Integration” on Wednesday, May 7. Schneider will discuss the technology advancements of Harley-Davidson motorcycles and impacts on wire harnesses construction and integration to maintain the iconic look, sound and feel of a product the customer expects.
Brian is an Engineering Manager at Harley-Davidson Motor Company, currently responsible for Routed Systems. This includes end-to-end responsibilities for the design and development of wire harnesses, along with ensuring great routing and integration of brake lines, clutch lines and fuel lines. He has over 25 years of product development experience in a wide range of areas from chassis systems, electrical systems, vehicle dynamics and full vehicle development. Over the past few years, Brian has been focused on improving the cross functional (engineering, vehicle assembly, and supplier manufacturing) development of wire harnesses to improve quality and cost.
